Based on actual events and personalities, THE ACCOMPLICES, is the true story of one man’s fight on American soil to shatter a conspiracy of silence and inaction in the face of the Holocaust. In 1940, Hillel Kook, a.k.a. Peter Bergson, arrived in the US fresh from the underground resistance in Palestine. He sought aid for the rescue of European Jews from the Nazis but was shocked to find himself blocked by both the Roosevelt administration and the Jewish establishment.
