Bad Jews

by Joshua Harmon Translated by: Rivka Meshulach Directed by: Tamar Keenan

About the show

The grandchildren of a beloved grandfather, a Jewish Holocaust survivor, come together for a family gathering on the night following his funeral. Among them are Daphne, the traditional Jew; Liam, the secular one; and his non-Jewish girlfriend.

As tensions rise, the cousins are drawn into a heated debate over some big questions: Who is a "good" Jew? What does it really mean to be Jewish? And, most crucially: who will inherit Grandpa’s priceless "Chai" pendant?

A witty, critically acclaimed comedy that had great success in New York and London.

"Bad Jews" is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French Inc., www.concordtheatricals.com
